That's right, I'm a magician!
I specialize in close-up magic, but also perform stage/parlor style shows with a lot of comedy thrown in. Birthday parties, work events, street performance, table hopping, etc. If you're looking for entertainment, I'm your man. I do children's shows as well as shows for grown ups. My aim is to offer family style entertainment that adults and kids alike can enjoy. For children/family shows I do make candy appear for the audience members, and also do balloon animals. If you have questions or want to book me for an event, See examples of my balloon animal work at the bottom of this page.

History as a Magician
With A Lot of Photos Thrown In
In that production, being the magician helped make the experience for me, it informed my character, and gave me a fun outlet in a show that was otherwise not very fun for me. It gave me the confidence to know that I could make magic, and perform it well enough for an audience. The opportunity to do balloon animals also resurrected a childhood interest of mine. I had originally learned balloon animals as a young boy when I had saved up my money for a kit to learn them. it was a short and fun process to re-learn them, and it was nice to actually give them to people and not just fill my bedroom with balloon dogs. |
While performing before James and the Giant Peach, one of the theatre's ushers came to me and explained that he was in charge of the wandering street performers for the local Dickens' Christmas Festival, and asked if I was interested in performing there. I leapt at the chance, and have for the last couple years performed magic at the St. George Dickens' Festival, in a home-made victorian costume.
My friends Summer and Kevin run a company the does characters and performers for children's parties, and I've been able to perform as a magician for them once or twice.
